Welcome to my Blank Canvas.

Well we did! We made the big move. This small town girl is now in the big city, well maybe not "the big city" but  a heck of a lot bigger than what I am used to! Its been 3 weeks today and I have finally put my GPS in my glove box and as long as I am within a 15 mile radius of my house I am OK! (Baby steps here people ha ha)

So as some of you already know MONTHS ago we were working with a builder to be able to move into this brand new amazing exactly how we wanted it house! Thanks to Liberals housing market and the fact that it takes forever to sell anything there poof said house got sold. So I had this entire place designed in my head down to the rug by the front door. (its the designer & ocd in my that makes this so easy) the very same day my dreams got shattered my real estate agent emailed me a listing for a house that I was quite sure wasn't in my budget. So after some talking of what is wrong with this and why has it not sold yet Bryan came to look at it(yup we put an offer on a house I had never seen in person can you say anxiety?!?!?!?). So its not brand new and its not without flaws but in the sense of real estate is a investment and some serious number crunching, we gave it a big lets do it!
Also the generous guy that owns the place is really understanding that USDA sucks and we still don't have a closing date for our house in Liberal. Kudos to him! So aside from now I am a home owner and a home leaser all at once (SUCKS) at least we are here! And the journey that started with "I am being sent to a 3 week school" the first of August that turned into "I'll be in school till December 10th then I am immediately moving to OKC" is finally coming to an end. We are so pleased to close the book on that crappy chapter of our lives!

So here I am in this big ass house in which all my stuff doesn't even begin to fill the spaces! For the first time my mind has been pretty much blank on what to do with it. NEVER had this issue before! Thanks to HGTV and a lot of sleepless nights of plugging the Internet for photos I am finally starting to get some thoughts on what I wanna do here. I am going to try to blog my way through each room as I do it so that all those interested can see the transformation. Needless to say this is going to take FOREVER so bare with me! Its a beautiful house with amazing features so interior wise there is nothing that needs immediate attention it was built custom to be a high tech dream home.

The only problem with that is.... It was someone Else's Dream!

Project Numero Uno - Landscaping
    * This house set Vacant for almost a year. Needless to say what used to be stylish landscaping has turned  into a over grown nightmare! (Pictures to Follow!)

  1. Am anxiously awaiting the outcome. The pictures you already posted have shown a beautiful home and I am jealous!HaHaha! Grandma had a scrapbook along time ago where she would put pictures and fabric swatches of the way she wanted her dream home to look,so you've gotten further than she did.
Good Luck and I'll keep reading!
    LOVE YOU,Aunt Cindy
